Pearly papules treatment
By kimlondon05, 14:40

Officially known in the scientific community as hirsuties coronae glandis, or also as hirsutoid papillomas, pearly penile papules are harmless formations between one and three millimeters in diameter found around the ridge of the manhood? tip. They often appear in a single, circumferential row or grouped in several rows and are white or flesh-colored. Most importantly, they are benign and are not an indication of any type of sexually transmitted disease.

But, you may be asking yourself, how does this device work. This device is not only used for pearly penile papules, it is also used for other skin conditions such as, warts, desiccation of sebaceous gland disorders and destruction of skin cancers. My doctor was kind enough to field all sorts of questions I had on these little weird bumps. He assured me they are completely benign, are not contagious, and are not usually accompanied by any other sort of symptoms. They most certainly were not an indicator that I had caught a sexually-transmitted disease or had developed cancer. What a relief!

One significant distinction between STDs and ppp is that only STDs can be dispersed through sexual activities. It is not uncommon that a normal physician does not recognize pearly penile papules. That is why it is suggested to talk with a skin specialist. First of all, it is necessary to be said that even though the cases of PPP are significantly lower in the case of circumcised men, there are men who have undergone circumcision and still had to cope with this condition. So, as a method of prevention, circumcision can be a solution, but not one which will be 100% guaranteed. This means that you can go through all the pain of this operation and still end up having pearly penile papules. This is why, before actually taking this step, you will have to consider it carefully and look at the advantages and disadvantages of such a procedure.

And without pearly penile papules your sex life can get back to normal. You can feel normal. You will feel confident and good about how your body looks and works. You won't have to worry about feeling shunned because people think you have an STD. Removal may be performed by a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon. When doctors use a CO2 laser for the removal, the procedure is fairly quick, taking only several minutes to complete. The procedure to remove pearly penile papules is conducted on an out-patient basis. Your doctor, however, is likely to ask you to spend a few days after the surgery to recover.

Electro surgery is also used to remove them and the procedure may take slightly longer, but it is still an out-patient procedure. It is not advised to use home remedies for the removal of the bumps, because improper removal can cause further medical issues, or can cause the genitals area to be scarred or mutilated. These procedures can also cause a person to lose sensation in their genital area or cause a dangerous infection. Other methods of removing them are simply ineffective, and will cause the patient to become disappointed after continued application of the creams, gels, and other substances to attempt to remove them.

The most unsavory part is that the manhood must be numbed in order to have the pearly penile papules removal. You can resume work the following day but hold off on the sexual activities for one to three weeks until you are completely healed. There should be no permanent scaring or loss of sensation but do realize that you may have some swelling and crusting after the surgery. It is a dermatologist who will perform the treatment and handle the laser. No one wants to have bumps that won't go away on their manhood.

Pearly penile papules is a condition which affects a large portion of men, starting with puberty. This condition is a skin disease and has nothing to do with the STD or other contagious diseases. In fact, not only it is not a STD, but it can appear in persons which have not yet had any sexual experience. Many men find this condition to be one of the worst genital problems, as there are few treatments, most of which are painful and have side effects. Thus, if it happens to have such a condition, you will have to learn how to live with it.
